CTT Releases from Jan. - May, 2023

Hi there!

This article will serve as a showcase of what Common Time Tapes has released in 2023 so far. As always, feel free to drop us a follow on Instagram (@CommonTimeTapes) so you don't miss any announcements or new releases in the future.

CTT-013: "Garden Wall" by Oak & Ivy

Oak & Ivy are a "MySpace era-esque" post-hardcore quartet from Cleveland, Ohio. "Garden Wall" is their debut 4-track EP and it will bring you back to the good ol' days of learning basic HTML & arranging your Top 5 friends. The EP gives a sense of nostalgia, yet it's still new and refreshing. This was our first release of the year and cassettes were limited to just 10 copies on a hand-painted pink cassette.

CTT-014: "the way life shapes us" by savannah grand

Savannah Grand is a Common Time Tapes veteran. They've been with us since the beginning of CTT in 2020, and we're thrilled to have released their latest work. "the way life shapes us" is the artist's second EP, but serves as an immediate follow-up to their debut full-length, "From Yesterday's Perspective." It has those familiar alternative synthwave/indie sounds that we all fell in love with three years ago. These cassettes are limited to 10 hand-numbered copies on a white cassette.

Both of these cassettes are available here.

Coming soon from CTT:

The People's Love Cult - The Signals of Virtue: The People's Love Cult is another CTT veteran. We've previously released their album "Century Girl," which recently got re-mastered and found its way onto Spotify. We also released a solo endeavor of The PLC's vocalist, with "The Curse of Mr. Pope" back in 2020.

Various - Charitapes - Vol. 4: We can't talk too much about this one, but you all knew it was coming. The next installment in our annual "Charitapes" series will be coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled for more information about that soon.
